Tom Okello
Founder & Principal
Tom Okello has about 20 years of pharmaceutical commercial and regulatory experience in East Africa. He has held roles at Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, IQVIA, UHD Uganda, Kyosk Digital Services and DP World ICS, where he led business expansion across Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.
He holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Makerere University and is completing an MSc in Supply Chain Management at Uganda Management Institute. He works in English, French and Swahili.
Under his leadership, OKLA has grown specialty and branded portfolios across East Africa for nearly two decades. Most recently, he grew a four-country specialty healthcare business more than 3.5 times in a single year.
